Every event is a custom quote depending on the size and scope of the event, the equipment setup, and a multitude of other factors. Generally, weddings and corporate events will be between $1,200–$3,500. I can get you a proposal with pricing within the same business day, so feel free to reach out for a quick estimate.
I started out playing only classical violin, and then, in response to client requests, I purchased an electric violin and started playing more recent songs with tracks. Today I offer both — see below for the full breakdown.
The electric violin is amplified from an electrical pickup — the sound is not produced by the instrument itself, but the pickup transmits the signal to the sound system which plays the sound. Functionally, anyone that can play an acoustic violin should be able to play the electric violin, provided they practice getting accustomed to the different feel and response.
I usually use my electric violin for most parties. I use my classical violin for classical concerts, recordings, certain smaller intimate events, classical chamber music, and certain bands where the acoustic sound blends better — I personally prefer acoustic + pickup to electric when playing with a Flamenco or Klezmer ensemble.
Classical, Signature Top 40 Pop covers, EDM, Classic Rock, and Hip Hop are the styles I'm most familiar with. I can play any style for events to some extent. If I cannot play the style appropriate for your event, I probably have another artist on my roster that can handle it!
For most events, I provide a basic sound system included in the base price. For larger corporate events where a sound company is retained, I often use their system. My company, Vibrant Harmony Entertainment, also offers custom A/V solutions for events.
I usually bring my own background music — tracks customized to work with my musical arrangements, as seen in many of my demo videos. I also work well with DJs, and I am a DJ myself. I can provide a DJ as well if you want a separate DJ from the violinist.
Yes. I can DJ your event, and I also have a roster of DJs I work with.
Vibrant Harmony Entertainment has lighting and staging packages as well as full production packages for events of any scale.
I'm based in Davie, FL — about 5 miles from Fort Lauderdale, 20 miles from Miami, and 45 miles from West Palm Beach. I have traveled nationally and internationally, including Virginia, New York City, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and Guayaquil, Ecuador. I regularly perform throughout Central and Northern Florida. Any extra travel costs will be clearly outlined in your proposal.
I dress appropriately for your event according to the specs. I have all the standard tuxedo options — regular black tuxedo with black tie, tails with white tie, white dinner jacket with many different tie options, and more. I can often obtain custom outfits for specific events, and I also own a Bridgerton-style costume. This is all discussed in our initial consultation.
Absolutely. I have female violinists on my roster at Vibrant Harmony Entertainment.
I offer solo performances, my Electrostrings trio, and many custom group configurations. Even a full symphony orchestra is possible if you have the space and budget for it.
Absolutely. For weddings, I typically send a list of suggested ceremony songs — but if you have requests, please include them with your initial inquiry or discuss them at the consultation.
After we agree on a price and basic terms for your event, I send you a two-page standard contract. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to secure the booking.
For events at venues that require insurance, there is a surcharge of $20–$60 per event. The certificate will be furnished to your venue with the requested additionally insured paperwork upon confirmation and receipt of the initial deposit. My equipment is insured under a separate policy.
